Gallery Talk: Dada Wang on Picturing Summer

Join UCI Langson IMCA Graduate Student Researcher Dada Wang, who aided Guest Curator Susan Davidson in organizing the exhibition, for a walkthrough of the exhibition. Following the program, Wang will be available in the gallery to answer questions and speak with visitors and program attendees.
This program is free and open to all. Advance registration is not required.

About the speaker:
Dada Wang is a graduate student researcher at Langson IMCA's curatorial department, and a second-year PhD student in the UCI Visual Studies program. She holds an MA in Art History from UC Davis and a BA in Art History and Critical Theory from Macalester College. Her research focuses on rhetorics of abstraction in Modern Chinese and Asian American visual culture.
