Common Ground: Early 20th-Century Artist Communities in Southern California

Curated by UCI graduate students, this exhibition delves into the vibrant artistic communities of Los Angeles, Laguna Beach, and La Jolla, showcasing how these locales fostered a distinctive aesthetic in response to Southern California’s ever-evolving landscape and cultural transformations in the early 20th century.

Songs of Common Ground: Voices of a Creative Community

Members of the UCI Chamber Singers will present a selection of choral works inspired by themes of the current exhibition to create an immersive experience celebrating creativity and community.

During open gallery hours, we invite you to make your own zine—an expressive way to share your perspective and connect with others who share your interests. No experience needed, just bring your creativity!
