Plan Your Group Visit to our Irvine Location
Group Visits
UC Irvine Langson Orange County Museum of Art in Irvine welcomes groups of 8 or more by appointment, offering a self-guided, conversation-based experience facilitated by our Visitor Experience staff. During your visit, groups will receive an introduction to both the Museum and the current exhibition. Our staff, along with UC Irvine student Gallery Guides, will be available throughout your visit to answer questions and encourage curiosity through close-looking.
To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience, we ask that all groups of 8 or more submit a Group Visit Request Form (available below) at least two weeks in advance. This helps us better prepare for your visit, including understanding your group size, arrival time, and any specific needs or goals for your experience.
As part of your visit, we encourage you to explore our collection of art books in our Reading Lounge. You’re also welcome to get creative with our self-guided art-making activity in the Education Studio, offering a hands-on way to connect with the art. We hope you take the time to fully immerse yourself in the experience!
K - 12 School Visits

Exhibition Tours (UC Irvine, Community Colleges, and Beyond)
We welcome groups of all kinds to explore our exhibitions. While our Visitor Experience staff is always available during your visit to provide context and answer questions, group visits are not guided tours by default.
To help us provide the best possible experience, we ask that all groups—whether UC Irvine–affiliated, from another university, or from the community—submit a Group Visit Request Form (below) at least a month in advance. This ensures we can tailor your visit to your group’s needs and, if desired, check availability for more immersive experiences such as guided tours.
