[/fusion_title][fusion_text]
On the evening of Thursday, February 9, The Irvine Museum Collection at the University of California, Irvine, held a gala reception to mark the opening of their current exhibition, ‘Along El Camino Real.’
This noteworthy exhibition presents works of art, some dating back to the early 1880s, that relate the colorful history of our Golden State.
On display are paintings that show how several important locales in California looked over a hundred years ago, including several paintings and etchings of the California Missions as well as a historic scene of downtown Los Angeles dating to 1886.
