The Irvine Museum Collection at the University of California, Irvine presents 

Drawing on the Past: Works on Paper, July 7, 2018 – Oct. 4, 2018

Event: Drawing on the Past is a remarkable display of drawings, pastels, watercolors and etchings by California artists dating as far back as the 1880s. The exhibition features work by some of California’s most prominent watercolor painters including Phil Dike, Arthur E Beaumont, and Emil Kosa.

When/Where:  July 7- Oct. 4, 2018. The Irvine Museum Collection at the University of California, Irvine is located on the ground floor of the Airport Tower Building at 18881 Von Karman Ave., in Irvine. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tues.-Sat. The museum is closed on Sundays, Mondays and major holidays. Admission is free. Ample parking is available at no charge in the structure next to the building. Parking is validated at the front desk.

Background: The Irvine Museum Collection is dedicated to the preservation and display of California art from the Impressionist Period (1890-1930). The collection was donated in November 2016 and is now part of the UCI Institute and Museum for California Art (UCI IMCA). For more information, visit
